Jas is an artist of Eurasian descent, born in 1980. Her ancestors, the Mandaya — an indigenous tribe from the Philippines — are deeply spiritual. They believe, "Honor salt, rice, beans, and noodles, and you will find happiness, protection from evil spirits, and a long life."

Jas creates her own unique modeling clay, allowing you to discover the spiritual essence of rice, salt, mung beans, and glass noodles in all her works. Her polarizing creations blend a variety of mixed-media techniques, incorporating neon acrylics, glow-in-the-dark paints, collages, 24-carat gold, 925 sterling silver, and her custom-made modeling clay to add a deep 3D effect. Each piece is meticulously UV-protected and coated with multiple layers to ensure its preservation for eternity.

The spiritual traditions of her ancestors and their reverence for the fruits of the earth also serve as a bridge to the ever-present message that our resources are finite and must be used with respect and sustainability — highlighting the importance of [re]-generation.
