Christine Guichard is a contemporary French artist known for her delicate and striking works on paper. Her art plays with contrasts, highlighting the luminous whites of paper and the velvety blacks of ink. Recently, she has incorporated gold into her compositions, adding a touch of brilliance to her black-and-white designs. Guichard's work often features embossed paper, transforming it into a tactile relief of peaks and hollows, with some peaks adorned in gold, offering a striking visual and textural experience.

Christine Guichard has been recognized for her exceptional skills, receiving the Jean Chieze Wood Engraving Honorary Prize. She honed her craft through extensive training in engraving and lithography at prestigious institutions such as the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris and the Beaux-Arts de Paris.
