Claude Louis is a photographer artist who recently rediscovered his ion for artistic photography after a rich and eclectic professional career. His interest in photography began in 1972, when he received his first camera, a "KODAK Retinette" from his father. In 1978, with his first savings, he bought his first SLR, a "NIKON Nikkormat EL" equipped with a 50 mm lens.

In the 80s, Claude dove into the world of film, using his own development lab. Although he brilliantly ed the entrance exam to the Louis Lumière school, the reference institution in photography, he finally opted for a career in medicine by pursuing a doctorate. Self-taught in photography, he explored various genres, ranging from astro-photography to wedding photos, as well as macro photography.

Today, Claude works exclusively in digital, using processing and development software to refine his images. His work is distinguished by a penchant for black and white, although he does not limit himself to this style. He favors shooting in situ, particularly in urban environments, instead of working in the studio. His first exhibition, entitled "Echoes of the Past", took place in July 2024, marking a significant turning point in his artistic career.
