Erik’s art reflects his beliefs about society and its relation to nature. He believes that art should be colorful and vibrant. He works exclusively with acrylic paints, clay, pastels, and wood. A lot of his work incorporates a 3-D / sculpture element to give the painting an extra depth effect.  Erik likes to create a place where people can escape to, which is why he began painting in the first place.
