What inspired you to create art and become an artist? (events, feelings, experiences...)
Probably, like many artists, the desire to create appeared in me in early childhood. I felt an urge to sculpt. So, art is my life's work!
What is your artistic background, the techniques and subjects you have experimented with so far?
Now, as a young artist, I am driven to creativity by the realities of today, society and its problems.
What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?
Considering the fact that I have been engaged in art all my life, I have created many works, both sculpture and painting. In particular, it is a monumental and chamber sculpture, for exhibitions, private collections or at symposia. I usually work with plaster, wood, metal, polyester resin, stone, ceramics.
Where does your inspiration come from?
A combination of styles and materials is visible in my works, but most importantly, my works have a deep meaning that the viewer immediately feels. This distinguishes me from other artists.
What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?
First of all, I reflect my emotions, feelings and outlook. It is important for me to demonstrate this. considering the fact that my works often show human nature, problems and experiences, the viewer can immediately understand this.
What is the process of creating your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technical, inspiration from art classics or other)?
Usually the idea of work is spontaneous, but execution requires preparation and time for various stages.
Do you use a particular work technique? if so, can you explain it?
Most often, I use the technique of welding, casting from plastic, as well as sculpting in plaster.
Are there any innovative aspects in your work? Can you tell us which ones?
In my opinion, an innovative solution in the work on the sculpture is the combination of a realistic three-dimensional form and a structure made of metal and wire.
Do you have a format or medium that you are most comfortable with? if yes, why ?
Most of all, I like to create a small easel sculpture, this is due to the fact that it does not take much time to create compared to a large monumental sculpture.
Where do you produce your works? At home, in a shared workshop or in your own workshop? And in this space, how do you organize your creative work?
I work in my own workshop near my house. My work schedule depends on inspiration and the number of orders.
Does your work lead you to travel to meet new collectors, for fairs or exhibitions? If so, what does it bring you?
The promotion of my work takes place through the Internet, but the exhibitions and symposia in which I participated also influence the emergence of new clients and connoisseurs.
How do you imagine the evolution of your work and your career as an artist in the future?
I hope that I will be able to continue working in my workshop and create unique works of art with even deeper content and meaning. I hope that my creative career will bring me both recognition and prosperity.
What is the theme, style or technique of your latest artistic production?
The subject matter of the latest works is related to human feelings, such as: pain, suffering, justice, indomitability. It is extremely important for me now to reflect and demonstrate to the whole world what my people are going through.
Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?
Probably, the biggest exhibition experience in my creative career is, of course, the organization of the first personal exhibition. It is of course difficult because I had no understanding of how to organize such events.
If you could have created a famous work in the history of art, which one would you choose? And why ?
I ire many artists, but if I were to choose one work, then for me it would be "The Thinker" by Auguste Rodin. This masterpiece includes all the features that I appreciate in a work of art, such as: mystery, deep meaning, idea, timelessness.
If you could invite one famous artist (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be? How would you suggest he spend the evening?
I think I would like to invite Ivan Marchuk to dinner, he is a world-famous Ukrainian artist. Of course, I would like to hear his opinion about my art.
