"Basically, my artworks materialize what I imagine, regardless of the subject matter. Also, I use a variety of techniques in my artworks, ranging from traditional oil painting to more modern approaches, depending on what I want to paint."

What inspired you to create art and become an artist? (events, feelings, experiences...)

When I first visited Toronto Canada, I had many opportunities to feel art more closely than in Japan, and it inspired me to start painting art.

What is your artistic background, the techniques and subjects you have experimented with so far?

Basically, my artworks materialize what I imagine, regardless of the subject matter.

Also, I use a variety of techniques in my artworks, ranging from traditional oil painting to more modern approaches, depending on what I want to paint.

In particular, in my main series "abstract portrait," I use impasto painting with oil, painting original textures that are truly unique and can only be felt because they were created analogically by humans.

What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?

The impasto texture on the surface of my artworks is truly one of a kind.

My artworks are painted by mixing art materials and techniques. These pieces become even more uniquely original as a result.

All my artworks are the result of expressing what I desire to create in my own style.

Where does your inspiration come from?

Maybe from everyday life. Everything. Ideas especially come to me when I'm taking a shower.

What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?

I prefer to create artworks that incorporate abstract elements or intentionally leave some imperfections rather than aiming for 100% perfection.

I believe this approach allows people to feel a connection and evoke emotions more effectively.

What is the process of creating your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technical, inspiration from art classics or other)?

Fundamentally, all my artworks originate from an image that forms within me and comes to completion. I am simply bringing that image into reality.

Do you use a particular work technique? if so, can you explain it?

I like working with mixed media. It's like following a recipe for cooking where each artwork requires complex processes and time to complete.

Sometimes, if the colors I imagine aren't available, I even create custom order colors with manufacturers.

Are there any innovative aspects in your work? Can you tell us which ones?

I don't know any other artists who create using the same production process and techniques as me.

I integrate traditional old techniques with the latest art materials. Even with older oil painting methods, incorporating new chemistry and art materials allows for even more fantastic expressions.

Do you have a format or medium that you are most comfortable with? if yes, why ?

There are no specific rules; I make the best choices for each artwork.

Where do you produce your works? At home, in a shared workshop or in your own workshop? And in this space, how do you organize your creative work?

I work in my own studio where I conduct all aspects of the work process. There are no rules regarding time or any other constraints.

Does your work lead you to travel to meet new collectors, for fairs or exhibitions? If so, what does it bring you?

I like exhibitions in new spaces because they allow for real communication, and I always consider them if the content aligns.

However, lately, I've had many opportunities to communicate with art collectors, curators, and others online through platforms like social media.

How do you imagine the evolution of your work and your career as an artist in the future?

I believe that as digital technologies like AI continue to advance, the real painting I create will gain more meaning and value. Alongside this, I think the value of being an artist like myself will also strengthen.

What is the theme, style or technique of your latest artistic production?

Currently, I am working on some of new pieces featuring historical figures. Additionally, I am experimenting with new techniques to incorporate into my work.

Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?

The most important exhibition will likely be in the future rather than in the past. I look forward to when things settle down with COVID-19 and exhibitions start moving again.

If you could have created a famous work in the history of art, which one would you choose? And why ?

Definitely, it's Mona Lisa. It continues to captivate many people even today, and it's a work of art known even to those who are not typically interested in art.

If you could invite one famous artist (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be? How would you suggest he spend the evening?

I would invite Rembrandt. If possible, I would love to hear about his creative process and see his working methods firsthand.
