The main protagonists of the works are birds, presented in poses that make clear their connection with the Source, the Cosmos, the Tree of Life. Birds in their conventionalised form manifest transcendence and the flow of life energy.

Ewa Dura - an artist with a comprehensive range of interests. She draws on a rich tapestry of cultural and traditional sources for her artistic inspiration, including myths and local folklore.
She graduated with a degree in cultural studies and went on to obtain a doctorate in literary studies. In 2018, she completed her postgraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts.
Ewa Dura is an expert at drawing and painting using classical techniques. She also experiments with small sculptural forms.
