Garik Avetisyan’s journey into art began in early childhood, driven by an innate fascination with creativity and self-expression. As a young boy, he would carefully sketch portraits of writers from his schoolbooks and model his family with plasticine. At the time, he could not have imagined that this ion would one day become his life’s calling.
Today, Avetisyan describes his artistic journey as inseparable from his very being. He sees his works as the vibrant colors of his soul, stating, “The palette of my soul is colorless without my works. The colors of my palette are a reflection of my soul.”
For Avetisyan, art is an infinite realm—one without boundaries. This boundless freedom drew him deeper into the creative world, where he found a way to express his feelings, emotions, and state of mind. Using the canvas as a medium to communicate his thoughts, he has achieved a unique artistic harmony by blending realism and abstraction.
Avetisyan honed his skills at the Yerevan State College of Fine Arts after Panos Terlemezyan, where he received formal training that shaped his artistic identity. Over the years, he has participated in numerous exhibitions, showcasing his mastery and vision to a broader audience.
