Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. My health sucks. I end up spending much time in hospital waiting areas, clinic waiting rooms etc. All that wasted time. Well no, I see others also waiting… I’m in a room full of potential sketches, an amazing array of poses, body language.
I often work these sketches fast and furious and lines may be rough and scratchy. But I capture a unique mood which I present here.
My signature for most of my sketches is my ‘G’ … and I try to to put the date…

I'm Canadian born now residing in Malaysia. I've been working professionally as a freelance artist since the 1980's … time flies.
I’ve travelled extensively over the years and you’ll see that people, places and cultures are a recurring theme in my art, as are nudes, architecture,orchids and nature. My love of tropical vistas is also reflected in the bright colours used. I work mainly with acrylic colours on paper, also handmade parchment papers.
