Guy Roger, est un artiste sculpteur et peintre camerounais, né au Cameroun dans la ville de Yaoundé où il réside. Mon parcours artistique a commencé vers les années 2003 comme autodidacte.
Mon art devient de plus en plus concret durant et après mes études de formation en filière art plastique et histoire de l'art à l'institut des beaux arts de l'université de Douala à Nkongsamba, où je sors nanti après trois ans de formation d'un diplôme en art plastique et histoire de l'art, option sculpture.
Ma démarche artistique est basée sur tous les aspects de la vie en général( tradition et culture africaine, amour, esthétique, Etc). Mon art est également influencé par ma carrière professionnelle, car faisant partie d'un corps des forces de sécurité de mon pays, ce qui explique la création de beaucoup d'œuvres d'art relevant des corps des forces de défense et de sécurité de mon pays. Je suis membre du pôle arts plastiques du ministère des arts et la culture de mon pays depuis 2024.
