The river has always been a place that connects people. Perhaps it has been encoded in our genes over the many millennia since people began to settle near rivers.
Perhaps that is why we like to walk by rivers with our partner and enjoy the moments together by the soothing flow of the river, which seems to connect us even more.
And perhaps it is to the river that we go with our partner even when our relationship starts to get complicated. Somewhere deep in our subconscious, we hope that the peace of the river will be transferred to our souls and that it will revive the bond between us...

Paintings by Janos Kujbus will be brought to the Moon by NASA 5l6k2q
NASA will send scientific instruments to the Moon, over 2022 to 2025. Along with NASA instruments, these missions will carry commercial payloads, including the time capsules that make up The Lunar Codex.
The Codex will be the first significant placement of contemporary arts on the Moon in 50+ years. While focused on visual art, the Lunar Codex also includes a substantial collection of contemporary books, stories, poetry, essays, music, films, and more.
As an arts and culture project, the Lunar Codex has been called the most expansive, international, and diverse collection of contemporary culture launched to the Moon. A documentary being filmed about the Lunar Codex is calling it a time machine from today to the future - and from the future to today.
At its essence, the Lunar Codex is a time capsule, a message-in-a-bottle to future generations.
János Kubus is the first contemporary artist from Hungary whose artworks will be sent to the Moon.
