I have always been fascinated when I go into bookstores, magazine stands, etc., and ire book covers, magazines with their editorials full of sophisticated layouts, ments, etc., and I asked myself: why hasn't this become art worthy of museums yet? There are professionals in this area of art direction who are true artists.
In the documentary Vogue The September Issue with Anna Wintour, notice how she puts the pages of the main editorial of the issue on the wall as if she were painting a picture.
She combines colors and photos as if she had a paintbrush in her hand. She changes the positions of where the pages will be and tests everything until the final result is published. Brilliant. All of this is part of an editorial work that we are already used to seeing in our daily lives but that I consider to be a true work of art.
