"Deep Ocean" is more than just a painting—it’s a sensory experience, a plunge into the unknown where light, texture, and movement merge in an ever-changing visual symphony. This acrylic on canvas composition is a bold exploration of depth, inspired by the boundless mysteries of the ocean.
At first glance, the viewer is drawn into an intense electric blue background, a deep and immersive shade reminiscent of the vast underwater abyss. The surface shimmers with subtle embedded glitter, reflecting light much like the sun’s rays piercing through the water, adding an ephemeral brilliance that changes depending on the angle of observation. This interplay of light and texture breathes life into the piece, creating a sense of fluidity and constant motion.
To build a strong textural foundation, I employed a large wooden spatula, imprinting dynamic, organic patterns onto the canvas. These sweeping, intersecting strokes resemble the restless undercurrents of the ocean, forming a complex network of ridges and valleys. The technique adds depth and a tactile quality, inviting the viewer to not only see but almost feel the movement within the composition.
Once this structural foundation was set, the piece evolved through a process of masking and layering, allowing distinct elements to emerge with precision and contrast. This method preserved sections of the initial textures while opening up spaces for new forms to take shape. Over these masked areas, I introduced bold, high-energy splatters and projections of color—a spontaneous yet deliberate dance of black, red, yellow, and white droplets, breaking through the blue like flashes of marine life, coral formations, or refracted light shimmering in the depths.
The tension between the controlled structure and the chaotic spontaneity of the color projections reflects the dual nature of the ocean: both tranquil and untamed, serene yet powerful. The vertical masked segments within the composition create a sense of architectural rhythm, reminiscent of underwater structures—perhaps coral reefs, submerged ruins, or even shafts of light filtering through the depths.
Each viewing of "Deep Ocean" offers a new interpretation. The painting challenges the eye to navigate between layers, discovering hidden textures and evolving details. It speaks to themes of immensity and intimacy, vastness and enclosure—just as the ocean can feel infinite yet deeply personal to those who dive into its depths.
This artwork is a striking statement piece, ideal for collectors seeking a painting that combines bold abstraction, deep emotion, and technical mastery. It brings a sense of energy, depth, and mystery to any space, whether a modern gallery, a private collection, or an interior that thrives on contemporary expression.
Dare to dive in. Let "Deep Ocean" transform your space and your perception.

Mr. Kob – A Fusion of Urban Energy and Latin Vibrance
Born in Burgundy, I grew up between the bright lights of southern and the electric pulse of the city, a contrast that shaped my artistic vision. In Marseille, I immersed myself in graffiti, a raw and instinctive language that taught me to transform walls into canvases, play with space, and make colors dance on rough surfaces.
My journey then took me much further: Mexico. Having lived there for many years and now being part of a Mexican family, this country has left an indelible mark on my art. Its vivid colors, boundless energy, rich visual traditions, and spontaneous relationship with art inspire me deeply. My paintings fuse the urban intensity of graffiti with Mexico’s radiant palette, blending the energy of street art with the raw emotion of popular culture.
Today, my work focuses on abstract painting on canvas, but always with this instinctive and experimental approach. Dripping, stencils, splatters, spatulas, and unconventional tools—I constantly push the boundaries of the medium, capturing movement, light, and the interplay of colors. I love painting outdoors, letting the wind and the moment guide my hand, and incorporating recycled materials to add layers of history and meaning to each piece.
Inspired by Jackson Pollock, Janet Sobel, and JonOne, but also by the vibrant aesthetic and controlled chaos of Mexican art, I create paintings where every splash of color tells a story, every texture invites reflection. My art is a dialogue between spontaneity and mastery, between chaos and harmony, between my roots and my travels.
With Artmajeur, I want to share this energy with everyone—art lovers, collectors, and those ionate about urban and abstract art. Each painting is a chapter in a constantly evolving artistic journey, a bridge between the streets and the gallery, material and emotion, Europe and Latin America.
Welcome to my world. Let yourself be carried away.
