Surrounding the woman is an arch—a powerful symbol of transition, a threshold between two states. The arch can be interpreted as a doorway to a new life, an escape from limitations and shackles. Within and around the arch are colorful figures—abstract, dynamic, almost dancing. These figures symbolize liberation, joy, and the vibrant energy of life that thrives beyond conventions and prohibitions. They are like bursts of color erupting from darkness, like voices of freedom that cannot be silenced.
Though dressed as a nun, the woman does not appear constrained or oppressed. Her face radiates confidence and serenity, as though she has already endured an inner struggle and found harmony. She stands on the threshold of a new life, where fear and doubt have no place. The arch and the colorful figures around her are not mere compositional elements—they are symbols of her inner metamorphosis, her transcendence of limitations imposed by society, tradition, or even herself.
What inspired me to create this painting?
This work emerged from reflections on freedom and inner strength. I was inspired by the idea that every person, regardless of circumstances, can find the power to transform themselves. The woman in the painting symbolizes all who have ever felt confined but found the courage to step into the unknown to discover their true selves.
I wanted to capture the moment of transition—when the old is left behind and the new has only just begun. The arch is not merely an architectural element; it is a metaphor for the choices each of us makes. The colorful figures around her represent the energy of life that is unleashed when we dare to be free.
This painting is about freedom beginning within us. It speaks to how even within the strictest confines, one can preserve individuality and inner fortitude. Breaking free from shackles is not always a physical act—it is first and foremost an internal decision that changes everything.
Through this work, I expressed my belief that every person deserves freedom and happiness, and that true beauty lies not in outward form but in the inner light we carry within.

Philosophy of Creativity:
"To do what you love is freedom, and to love what you do is happiness!" — this is Olga's credo, which is reflected in each of her works. Her pieces are not just paintings or interiors; they are stories told through textures, colors, and forms. She believes that art is a process where destruction and creation go hand in hand, and beauty is born from chaos.
Symbolism and Philosophy:
Olga Kaganovich's work is a profound search for an answer to the question: "Who is a human being?" Her creations explore the unity of humans and existence, the connection between the inner world and external reality. Through abstract forms and complex textures, she conveys the idea that a person is not merely an observer but a part of the universal process of being. Her paintings are an attempt to see and show how a person perceives the world and how the world perceives a person.
Artist's Studio:
Olga works in her studio, where every element — from the canvas to the brush — becomes part of the creative process. Her studio is a place where ideas take shape, and inspiration turns into art. Here, works are born that not only decorate space but also make the viewer reflect on their place in the world.
