“ A tight sweater & legs in 2 different time zones “

This piece is based of one moment in my life many many years ago. Its probably one of the pieces that is much more direct in its meaning in some ways.. but for you to know the meaning you must transport yourself back to the early 90’s. I ran a stage show which I performed in in a nightclub, which was performance art . It was the first art project to a degree in my life that “ took “ so to speak. I had been running my show for about 4 months and it did really well. This piece is based off this: I had just gotten off stage and was making the 40 foot journey to the bar to grab a drink when I noticed a young woman standing by the railing of the raised area next to the bar . I had never seen a woman so striking in real life . She was like something from a magazine. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her and thought to myself “ is she staring back at me ? “ You have to picture her ,, she was wearing black latex hose and garter belt with a micro mini skirt also black latex, opera length latex gloves and a tight pink fuzzy half sweater. She was also wearing 7 inch heels and was tall by design already. She had a white blonde angled bob, with chiseled features and ghostly light blue eyes accentuated by goth make up ( it was the 90’s ) . As i got closer to the bar she made her way to the stairs ,, as I got even closer she came down the stairs. I realized at that point she was heading towards me . I continued towards the bar but she met me right in front of it. I am 6 foot but she was taller than me in those heels ,,, and I really liked it. She simply said “ can I buy you a drink ?” This moment was the first time in my life that I ever felt almost a blush . I had always been the aggressive one when it came to meeting young ladies in the past ,, and to have this almost fantasy type girl approach me was actually the first time a woman had . I will never forget that moment . ps I did date her for good while and 2 other pieces I’ve done are about her, but I won’t say which .
