Born in 1995 in Paris, TØMFØX is a ionate self-taught painter who has transformed his fascination with street art and pop culture into an artistic signature.
As a teenager, he spent hours observing graffiti, posters, and murals, finding in this street art a raw and unfiltered freedom of expression. Inspired by iconic street art figures such as Obey, Speedy Graphito, and Seen.
In 2020, during a trip to New York, he fell in love with the city's unique urban aesthetic. This trip marked a decisive turning point in his career. Fascinated by the city's subway maps, he decided to make them the backdrop for his works. These maps, symbols of the organized chaos of New York, become the ideal medium for his art.
His works, created mainly with acrylic paint and markers, incorporate references to popular icons such as superheroes, cartoon characters, and figures from digital culture.
The artist exhibited for the first time in 2023 in a private mansion in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, to present his first collection on NYC subway maps.
