Having always known that she was here to live a meaningful life, Ursula Sandys decided in her late youth to do something worthwhile by leaving full time employment to have a go at learning how to express feelings as an actress. She started to perform in plays at the Elisabeth Buehne and the “Toi-Haus children and youth theatre” in Salzburg, Austria. The Toi-Haus specialised in experimental productions for young people. In 1998 she was certified by EquityActors’ Association for drama.
Working part time in the “Mozarteum of Music and Art” she got involved with visual artists who collaborated with the theatre through various workshops and plays.
When she got married in 1993 she moved to England, where she now lives with her English family. Her background in experimental theatre eventually led to finding another artistic outlet in painting.
Her work was invited by Pace Gallery for a Virtual Art showcase and praised as “We are captivated by your artistic talent and the innovative nature of your creations. Your artworks exemplifies a harmonious fusion of artistic brilliance and technological innovation. Each piece resonates with profound creativity, evoking emotions and narratives that captivate the viewer. Your ability to travers diverse themes, styles, and mediums truly showcase your artistic range and makes your collection a valuable addition to contemporary Art."
Fueled by this much appreciated validation of her art, her aim is to captivate art enthusiasts from around the world and offering them a unique and immersive art experience.
