To become an artist, you need to go through all the stages of study and gain experience in everyday life, this is study-work, work-study!!!!!!!!!!!                                 I, Valery Petrovich Grenko, was born on July 4, 1955, in Russia, in the Southern Urals, in the city of Chelyabinsk.                                 My studies at the City Children's Art School of the city of Chelyabinsk, where I studied for four years, began with a misunderstanding of circumstances - which determined my further path to high art. If I had not drawn on the back of the notebooks on which I did my homework, then my fate could have been different. I was nine years old then. The class parents' committee noticed my inclinations and sent me to an art school, although the exams had already ed and classes were already underway. I studied at school for four years and graduated with honors. The preparation at school was academic classics. After eight grades, I entered the Sverdlovsk Art School, but soon left due to my mother's illness. I grew up without a father, and my mother's illness postponed my studies for a while. It was time to the army. I served the first year, but in the second year after the artist's demobilization, by order of the unit's political apparatus, I was appointed chief artist of the unit --- I re-decorated the Lenin rooms. Upon returning home, an art school was opened in Chelyabinsk, where I was accepted without exams. I studied for four years and was sent to the north of the country. But my dream was to enter and graduate from a higher art educational institution. After working in the north, I moved to Ukraine, since my ancestors are from the city of Chernigov. Upon arrival in Ukraine, I soon entered the All-Ukrainian Printing Institute named after Ivan Fedorov. The knowledge I received was excellent and I proudly felt like a real artist. Within the walls of the institute, I studied for six years and, having received a diploma, went out into life, which turned out to be not as boring for me as I thought!!!! Creative work began to bear fruit for me. Work in publishing houses, orders in production shaped me and I quickly gained experience and practice. But the feeling for beauty - painting and graphics did not leave me. I began to little by little exhibit my works at exhibitions - regional, all-Ukrainian and international. My ission to the Union of Ukrainian Artists suggested that I was on the right path!!!!!!!! My works were bought in art salons for three to four, especially by foreigners. My style -- impressionism, post-impressionism, bright saturated colors, interesting, unhackneyed composition attracted them. I even worked for some time for Colonel SMITH from the White House, who came with a disarmament group to one of the factories in the city of Pavlograd.

During my entire career, I have participated in more than 70 All-Ukrainian and International exhibitions, 30 regional ones!!!!!!! I have certificates from the Union of Artists, diplomas for participation in major exhibitions in the cities of Cherkassy, Kyiv, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk and
