Glossy finish

Ciro Cacace è nato a Napoli il 23 novembre del 1949, ha iniziato fin da ragazzo a dedicarsi all’arte pittorica in maniera del tutto autodidatta.
Durante gli studi presso il Liceo Scientifico Filippo Silvestri di Portici si è distinto particolarmente nelle materie artistiche.
Successivamente ha frequentato l’Accademia Militare di Modena dell’E.I. che poi ha lasciato nel 1984 col grado di Capitano per potersi dedicare completamente alla pittura.
A Roma ha frequentato la Scuola Libera del Nudo ed è stato allievo del Pittore scano Padre Ortensio Gionfra presso il suo studio di San Bonaventura al Palatino(Rm) oltreché sua guida spirituale.
Ciro Cacace oltre che a dipingere si dedica anche, da vari anni, alla riscoperta di materiali e tecniche pittoriche riferentisi alle antiche tradizioni pre-industriali come tele colori ad olio, carboncini, acquerelli e tempere.
Attualmente vive e lavora con studio a Napoli.
