Gardani is a contemporary American artist, born in Quito, Ecuador, and currently based in Miami, Florida. Entirely self-taught, he held his first solo exhibition in his native Quito, solidifying his ion for art and prompting him to pursue it as a lifelong career. Recognizing the importance of exposure to major art museums, Gardani believes in learning from the higher expressions of art found in these institutions.

Known for his classic-realism style paintings executed in oils, Gardani has recently gained acclaim for his vibrant pop art creations. While he remains true to his roots in magic realism, which he has practiced for over three decades, Gardani draws inspiration from a diverse array of artistic masters, including Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Joan Mitchell.
