Licenciado en artes visuales egresado de la escuela de pintura escultura y artesanías de la UJED. Si bien su formación se enfocó en técnicas artísticas tales como la pintura, escultura y el grabado, desde 2015 decide enfocar su producción y discurso plástico, en el arte textil.Su obra se basa en la interpretación y análisis de la figura del hombre en la sociedad contemporánea, viéndolo como ser sensible e indefenso, inmerso en un sin fin de preguntas que a través de la creación textil buscan respuesta.El trabajo que realiza hace hincapié en la apreciación y aprovechamiento del bordado y el textil como materiales artísticos, pues considera que tanto las técnicas artesanales como las propias del mundo de las bellas artes, parten del mismo génesis.
Ha participado en numerosas exposiciones colectivas como creador textil, en Durango, Tlaxcala, Aguascalientes, Coahuila y Nuevo León.Su interés por la difusión del textil lo llevo a participar en el Programa de apoyo a las culturas municipales y comunitarias en el 2016, con el proyecto Botánica Textil que le permitió acercar talleres de técnicas textiles artesanales a jóvenes artistas.En 2018 es beneficiario del programa de estímulos a la creación y desarrollo artísticos, con el proyecto el macho y sus pistilos, una serie de retrato masculino bordado, la cual es la más representativa se su carrera.En 2020 es seleccionado en el programa ´´Jóvenes Creadores´´ del FONCA con el proyecto ´´Transbordado´´.Actualmente se desempeña también como docente de diversas materias en temas textiles, en la Escuela de pintura, escultura y artesanías y en la Universidad Autónoma de Durango
