Ici, la mue est un renouvellement intérieur. Il n’y a pas de transformation vers un autre, c’est un avènement. Fondamentalement, rien ne change hormis les équilibres, les liens.
Figée dans une position verticale simple et statique, c’est une femme qui est représentée. Comme c’est par elle que la vie se perpétue, elle est une allégorie de notre Terre. Son corps immuable telle notre planète, renouvelle sa surface, sa peau. Elle n’en reste pas moins elle-même, ni plus ni moins que notre planète dont la surface peut bien changer, restera un astre parmi tant d’autres. Il n’en demeure pas moins que, sans peau on ne vit pas.
La Mue, faite de plâtre -matériau recyclable-, nous parle bien de vie et d’avenir. Le regard porté au loin nous emmène avec lui vers un renouveau de la vie.
