La création est une activité qui l’habite depuis l’enfance : dessin, modelage de l’argile, fabrication de maquettes ou de marionnettes.
Diplômée de l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, elle a exercé son métier d’architecte d’intérieur avant de s’installer en 2017 comme plasticienne et sculptrice, tout en exerçant une activité professionnelle en parallèle.
Son terrain d’investigation est la nature : ses médiums : l’aquarelle, l’encre, l’argile, le tissu, le cyanotype.
A la sortie des Beaux Arts, le corps humain -celui de femme particulièrement - et le mouvement sont ses thèmes principaux. Elle réalise des encres sur papier, aves des détails à la plume, l’ensemble est graphique à tendance « art déco ».
Une seconde période est marquée par plus de réalisme, la sculpture animalière apparait. Les animaux présentés appartiennent aux espèces en voie de disparition ou que certains appellent « nuisibles ». Il s’agit de sculptures en terre cuite avec des finitions diverses : terres brutes cirées, émaux, patines…. Les animaux sont représentés en mouvement, à l’affut, ou dans des scènes de tendresse.
Aujourd’hui, l’humain a disparu. Son travail dévoile ses paysages intérieurs centrés autour de l’animal et de la nature. L’animal mythologique ou fantastique a fait son apparition ainsi que des arbres dans ses sculpture en céramique.
Des aquarelles présentent des mondes imaginaires peuplés d’arbres planètes tournoyant dans le cosmos. Des cyanotypes sur toile sont peuplés d’oiseaux et d’animaux exotiques.
Elle réalise également des cyanotypes sur tissu, à mi-chemin entre la peinture et la sculpture, elle modèle le tissu en créant des vagues, des fronçages, pour faire naître des atmosphères de sous-bois où frémissent les feuilles teintées de soleil ou le bruissement d’un ruisseau.
Elle emmène ainsi, flâner le spectateur dans des univers qu’elle veut emplis de sensations.
