J'ai travaillé à exprimer la fusion du feuillage, ce qui donne à la toile une touche légèrement abstraite ou expressionniste. L'arbre semble s'épanouir dans l'espace, créant une harmonie entre son tronc imposant et son environnement naturel.

Cet olivier millénaire, enraciné à Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, est sans doute le plus vieil arbre de .
