"On July 6th, it will be 4 years since my father ed away. This event changed my life. And I must say, it changed it for the better. I was far from being in a good place. I was in a very bad relationship that I had endured for too long. And the loss of my father made me realize how important it is to love what we do, to love those around us, and to follow our heart's desires. Having faced death, I understood that few things are truly significant in life. Being true to oneself is, I believe, the most indispensable thing. Those who are not faithful to themselves and pretend to be what they are not miss their true purpose in life and, in turn, miss the purpose of their existence. I created this digital painting as a tribute to him. My father worked with metal, and he loved seeing metal shine. Just like me, actually. When something shines, it's attractive. And it's a reminder for me, an artwork that I created to who I am and to continue being.

Inspiration:
I created this painting in honour of my father, who ed away from leukemia. The diamonds that I included in the painting represent the cherished relationship I had with my father, like a treasure. The flowers of paradise symbolize my hope to see him again someday. And the shining metals in the dark serve as a reminder for me of the love my father had for me, the trust he had in me, and something that I deeply miss. There is a lot of love in this painting.
