Ingekorte biografie Maurice Heymbeeck
Geboren te Leuven in 1957, afkomstig Haacht-Station, wonend te Werchter. Ex- leerling academie Mechelen multi-disciplinair o.l.v. Herman Van Ingelgem en digitale fotografie o.l.v. Vera Cammaer te Aarschot. Ik volgde gespecialiseerde opleidingen fotografie in CVO Heverlee + Keerbergen, maar ook praktisch onderricht (o.a. opbouw expo)te M-museum Leuven.
Vanaf 2015 ben ik vooral artistiek bezig met : foto’s op aluminium, di-bond, foaming, acryl-glas, canvas; spiegelgebruik/glasmozaiek en durf ik ook te experimenteren met andere technieken, af en toe worden er ook gedichtjes geboren. Sinds 10/2019 ben ik zelfstandig beeldend kunstenaar met een voorkeur voor zuivere fotografie (= geen digitale bewerkingen). Om mijn werken te begeleiden, bracht ik een 14-tal foto-boeken uit, steeds in kleine, beperkte oplages. Al mijn foto’s verschijnen steeds in een maximale oplage, afhankelijk van het ontwerp of grootte pixels.
