Buste en faïence émaillée et patinée. Le charme de ce buste réside dans sa silhouette gracieuse, dans le contraste entre le brillant/nacré des émaux et le côté mat de la patine outremer et surtout dans la mise en lumière de la dentelle gravée par l’émail argenté. Ce bleu très profond délimité par l’émail argenté, absorbe la lumière tandis que l'émail la reflète sur toutes les facettes de la dentelle.
Ce buste est créé avec la technique de la plaque, donc entièrement creux avec une épaisseur régulière, ce qui assure un meilleur séchage et une cuisson uniforme. Il y a deux cuissons sur cette pièce: la première que l'on appelle cuisson biscuit (980°) c'est-à-dire la cuisson de la terre, la seconde l'émaillage (1050°). Emaillage au pinceau.
Après l’émaillage vient la patine bleu outremer et blanche nacrée, dernière touche pour créer du contraste.
Cette sculpture est collée sur un socle en métal carré blanc, 12 x12 cm
