Wat is de oorsprong van de Gouache techniek?

Gouache (van Italiaanse guazzo) is een stof die een bindmiddel (glycerine) of een gegomd oplosmiddel op waterbasis (arabische gom) gebruikt. Dekkend en dekkend (in tegenstelling tot waterverf), mengt het gemakkelijk en verdunt het met water (temperaverf). De term gouache, die veel wordt gebruikt door kunstenaars, verwijst zowel naar het materiaal dat in een buis wordt gevonden als naar het resultaat dat op het doek wordt waargenomen.
