Le batik, technique d’impression millénaire, servait traditionnellement pour la confection de vêtements et cacher la nudité.
Je détourne cette technique pour révéler la face cachée des êtres, mettre à nu leurs sentiments.
Je réfléchis à l’état humain. Ce sont des images figées de la vie, une illustration de nos sentiments explicites ou secrets. Je dépeins la solitude, la confrontation, la verbosité, la colère... ce qu’il est accepté de cacher et qui est difficile à présenter visuellement. Tout cela, e à travers moi et je l’exprime sur du tissu.
