Captured during a rhythmic gymnastics competition in Formigine, near Maranello (home of the Ferrari team), this photograph explores the ethereal beauty of motion. Through intentional camera settings, each frame blurs the line between athleticism and dream, transforming movement into visual poetry.

It was late. The hour when the world forgets its shape. Somewhere between sleep and not-sleep I saw them—
girls moving slow through a pale light, their limbs cutting arcs in the dark like water under some old moon.

They danced a pattern I did not know. Not new. Not made for me. It had no name I could name.
Their bodies blurred at the edges. Not from speed, but from distance. From time maybe.

I watched. I tried to see their faces. Tried to see anything.
But they were like smoke given grace.

And then they stopped. All of them.
They turned toward me. Their eyes were not eyes but mirrors. Or maybe wells.

I said, Who are you.

And their voices came together in one breath,
soft and dry and final.

We are rhythmic ghosts.
