L'histoire du concept " The World Of Cans " :
Un jour d’été, étant en manque d’inspiration, lors d’une balade dans la nature, je traverse des sentiers, champs, forêts. Je ne peux que contempler le paysage qui s’offre à moi. Le bonheur m’envahit soudain, suivi immédiatement d’une profonde tristesse. Je prends conscience que mon champ de vision est contaminé par des déchets de toutes sortes. Je me rends compte que les canettes de Coca-Cola, Fanta, Red Bull et tellement d’autres dominent le sol naturel de notre précieuse planète.
En rentrant chez moi, mes pensées sont saturées. Par ce que je venais de constater. J’entreprends donc de faire des recherches sur le net. En tapant Coca-Cola dans Google, je trouve toutes sortes d’articles expliquant les effets négatifs des boissons gazeuses sur l’environnement et la santé. Une idée commence alors à germer dans ma tête. Je me mets à dessiner.
Quelques jours plus tard, les premiers croquis sont finalisés pour devenir le fil conducteur d’une série de sculpture miniature intitulé « The World Of Cans », ayant comme objectif de sensibiliser et de dénoncer la surconsommation de canettes dans notre société.
Je fabrique principalement les sculptures en récupérant du carton, du plastique, du bois. Ensuite je les découpe, les colle et peint pour leur donner forme et ainsi bâtir « The World Of Cans ».
