Christos Samaras was born in Athens. From a young age he loved painting and generally anything related to creation.

He is self-taught. He has studied both theoretically and practically great painters of the Renaissance and landscapes. In his early adult years of painting, he dealt with almost all subjects, such as paintings inspired by ancient sculptures with realistic depiction. He has distinguished himself in a Panhellenic student painting competition, winning first prize.

In his later artistic career, he added nature, the sky and the earth. Growing up, he fell in love and loved the sun, the sky, nature and the colors that surround it. Of course, he could not forget the sea and its islands, since they are elements that characterize the multidimensional beauty of Greece. He was inspired by its serenity but also by its storm. His works sometimes have a calm and sometimes a stormy theme.

He works with oils, acrylic, pencil and charcoal on canvas, MDF board, treated wood, paper, stone, but also on any surface that can be painted. Materials with which he can give greater expressiveness and realism to his painting compositions. To highlight as much as he can the beauty of the best painter in the world. Nature.

Through his painting he wants to capture as much realism as he can. To present nature with a simple but at the same time colorful color feast. The beauty of the sculptures of the ancient Greeks in a one-dimensional form, without depriving, as much as possible, the harmony and beauty that the great Greek sculptors have given them.

He has participated in many group exhibitions. His works are in private collections in Greece and abroad.
