Composition réalisée à partir de fers pleins, tôles, divers éléments en acier de récupération, ancien cerclage de tonneau et pastilles de verre réalisées sur mesure par un atelier de souffleur de verre

Ma sensibilité artistique a démarré par la musique en étant musicien amateur, guitariste, auteur-compositeur au sein d’un groupe de rock alternatif.
Jeune adulte, j’ai découvert l’univers de l’art Abstrait, du mouvement DADA et des surréalistes. Puis plus tard l’art Singulier, l’art Brut, l’art Modeste. Une révélation.
Je me suis intéressé à une matière que me fascine : le métal.
J’ai été émerveillé par la ferronnerie époque et style Art Nouveau.
En 2018, reconversion professionnelle pour suivre une formation de ferronnier d'art afin d'apprendre les techniques nécessaires à l'assemblage des métaux.
En 2020, après un long cheminement d’interrogations j'ai ouvert mon atelier sculpteur/assembleur sur métal.
J’utilise comme médium le travail à la forge et l’utilisation de pièces métalliques de récupération.
Parfois j’intègre des éléments en verre soufflé (fabriqué sur mesure par un atelier verrier).
Verre délicat et fragile. Métal froid et robuste.
J'aime associer ces 2 matières qui se répondent, liées par le feu et constituent un ensemble qui évoque l'Humain dans sa complexité.
Mes créations et mes sculptures proposent un univers imaginaire surréaliste inspiré par différents thèmes : mythologies, légendes, lectures, actualités, discussions ou rêveries.
« Alliant la brutalité du geste à l’élégance du mouvement » (Présentation de Mme Aline Llareus-Dinier, critique d’art - avril 2024), les pièces forgées, martelées, soudées se transforment et deviennent « autre chose », une « entité » qui parle à notre âme et nous questionne, un engagement poétique.
