I have been involved in several sports since childhood, which is why even as a professional artist I am attracted to sports motifs in my work. My favorite sports include swimming and water polo, which also inspired me for this sculpture.

There are not many sculptors who, like the young Hungarian artist Kristof Toth, can faithfully capture the atmosphere and dynamics of human activities. His bronze figures of athletes are captured exactly in the most characteristic poses. The golfer and the tennis player have just fired the ball, the football player is about to score a goal, the surfer is fighting the waves, the swordsman is just making a lunge, the jockey is excitedly driving the horse in a wild gallop, the shooter is stretching the bowstring of his bow ... Young Hungarian artist Kristof Toth speak about his work.

Born 1990 in Budapest. He grew up under the art of his father, the academic sculptor Erno Toth. As a young child, he was involved in the studio under his feet, and later as a schoolboy he was already actively assisting in modeling and casting him in all known Hungarian sculptures.
From 2008 to 2010 he studied biology at the University of Szeged. However, the desire to realize his creative potential was stronger, and so he remained at the university for a few years, this time at the Faculty of visual arts and painting to become a professional artist.
The motifs of his sculptural works are even more diverse. Sporting themes dominate, perhaps because he is an active athlete so he can capture moments of sport in all their dynamics and excitement. Whether it is sculpture of a skier, swimmer, swordsmanship, basketball player, skater, cyclist or golf player, we all perceive the dramatic moments of stopping and rewinding into matter.

There are not many sculptors who can perform the world of animals and birds as faithfully as the young Hungarian artist Kristof Toth.His bronze animals are captured exactly in their most characteristic poses. When you look at Kristof's animal sculptures, you feel that he knows this animal kingdom perfectly.And you're right! Before graduating from the Academy of the Arts in Budapest, Kristof studied biology at another university and knows the life of animals so well.He prefers to create sculptures of wild animals. Bears, bulls, jaguar, cheetah, lion, elephant, camel, antelope, hippo, rhino, mouflon, gorilla, monkey, meerkats, dinosaurs, but also horses, chameleon, octopus, squirrels, hares, frogs or cats have not escaped his creative ion.He created bronze sculptures of a flamingo, toucan, eagle, stork or hummingbird from the bird kingdom.
